Coinbase’s layer-2 network, Base, achieved a new daily transaction record, surpassing its previous peak since its August launch. On September 14th, Base reached 1.88 million transactions, outperforming its earlier record of 1.41 million on August 21st. It exceeded rivals like Optimism and Arbitrum, which combined for 878,000 transactions. However, it still trails behind Polygon and BNB Smart Chain in transaction volume.
