Circle Internet Financial, the USDC stablecoin issuer, has launched an upgrade for its Web3 crypto wallet. The update, named Gas Station, enables merchants to cover customers’ transaction fees. This feature is now available on Polygon (MATIC) mainnet and Ethereum (ETH) testnet, with plans to expand to more blockchains. Grab, the Southeast Asian super-app, is testing Gas Station to provide gas-free transactions for users utilizing non-fungible token (NFT) vouchers from Grab’s Web3 wallet.
