Crypto adoption in Turkey has risen from 40% to 52% over the last 18 months, as per a survey by KuCoin, the world’s fifth-largest crypto exchange. The survey, based on 500 responses, indicates growing interest in crypto as an inflation hedge, with the Turkish lira losing 50% of its value against the US dollar. Bitcoin is the top choice among investors, with 71% owning it, and 47% of crypto investors aged 18-30 are female. Word of mouth from friends and family is a significant influence, with 57% of respondents citing it.
