JPMorgan, a major U.S. bank, unveiled its in-house blockchain application, the Tokenized Collateral Network (TCN), on October 11. The TCN enables the use of assets as collateral via blockchain technology, facilitating seamless ownership transfer without altering asset ledgers. In its inaugural trade with BlackRock, the TCN transformed money market fund shares into digital tokens, enhancing over-the-counter derivatives security at Barclays.
