On Friday, October 13th, the Nigerian government, as disclosed by Bosun Tijani, the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, announced its plan to provide a financial grant of 5 million naira (equivalent to $6,444) to support 45 startups and researchers dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI).
