Cryptocurrency exchange OKX extends its reach into Argentina following its 2023 debut in Brazil. Argentine users gain access to OKX’s exchange platform, a self-custody wallet, and NFT trading. Argentina ranks 15th in Chainalysis’ 2023 Global Crypto Adoption Index. OKX’s move follows Binance’s similar expansion in April 2023. Argentina’s recent decree allows Bitcoin for contract settlements. However, the Central Bank banned payment providers from offering crypto transactions in May 2023.
