PayPal is temporarily halting cryptocurrency purchases for its UK customers due to new regulations from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Customers holding crypto can retain it on the platform and sell at will. The pause, starting October 1, 2023, is expected to be lifted in early 2024. PayPal introduced its stablecoin and crypto hub earlier.
