Ripple is collaborating with payments fintech Onafriq to extend remittance capabilities in Africa and several Gulf nations, the UK, and Australia. This partnership will establish three blockchain-based payment channels between Onafriq users in Africa and PayAngel in the UK, Pyypl in the GCC, and Zazi Transfer in Australia. Ripple is also gaining prominence, especially with its XRP cryptocurrency, due to recent regulatory developments and licenses, expanding its services to include enterprises and SMEs.
