UBS Asset Management, a division of Switzerland’s largest financial holding, is initiating a live pilot of a tokenized Variable Capital Company (VCC) fund in Singapore. Leveraging its in-house tokenization service, UBS Tokenize, the firm will use Ethereum smart contracts to facilitate fund subscriptions and redemptions. This move is part of Project Guardian, led by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, aiming to tokenize real-world assets.
