Virtual asset broker-dealer Binance Holdings Ltd. has gained in-principle clearance from the Abu Dhabi Global Market to operate. Richard Teng, the company’s regional manager for the Middle East and North Africa and a former ADGM official, told Bloomberg that the application procedure still has to be completed. It is becoming more popular for crypto exchanges to locate in the United Arab Emirates, even FTX, one of Binance’s main rivals got a licensee last month.
